Mary O’Donnell 5K Race to Cure ALS

|

Yesterday runners in support of finding a cure for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) came to Pine Banks Park to run a 5K in honor of Mary O’Donnell. Mary passed away from ALS three years ago and people continue to run in remembrance of her as well as raise money for the Angel Fund which supports ALS research. The Angel Fund also hosts other events in support of ALS research so if you want to get involved or feel like you missed out, here is the link to their event calendar: https://theangelfund.org/event-calendar/  We at Pine Banks Park are proud to support such a worthy cause and hope that the Angel Fund and the 5K for Mary O’Donnell returns to our park next year.
